A very well-organized but slow going tropical wave that exited the African coastline on September 1st developed into Tropical Storm Isabel to the early morning of September 6th. Isabel turned a hurricane on September 7th and speedily intensified to Category four hurricane strength within the evening from the 8th whilst the eye was located much more
